Founded in 2005, the Hawaiian-inspired footwear company OluKai has been devoted to putting great products that capture the spirit of the Hawaiian islands onto the market. Sparked by their deep reverence for Hawaiian culture, OluKai has been giving back to the community there since it launched, even beginning a charity in 2014 to help preserve and celebrate Hawaiian heritage.

The deep relationship OluKai has with America’s 50th state is the kind of connection many brands strive for today as companies try to live out their values and do social good.

That’s why, after spending some time using OneTrust to manage the Data Subject Access Request process (DSAR), OluKai realized the data privacy software wasn’t allowing them to efficiently handle incoming requests and keep their customers’ data safe and compliant.
