In March 2023, Mine unveiled exciting new updates to its comprehensive data privacy and governance platform. Reviewer enables users to more seamlessly send feedback requests and gain approval from their team members for various data assets. But that’s not all; Mine has also undergone a transformation and is now a rebranded one-stop-shop for data governance and security challenges called MineOS.

For larger enterprises, we have scaled up our portal capacity and added a new Single Sign-On (SSO) login option. Moreover, our latest integrations allow you to handle DSRs more efficiently and automatically. In this blog, we will dive deeper into these new features and how they can benefit your organization.

Review on a Deeper Level

MineOS Reviewer is freshly updated to help you further ensure precision in privacy. Now you can send requests for feedback and get approval from your teammates about data types, system usage, and processing activities as well.

As a MineOS Reviewer, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the data types, system usage, and processing activities used by you and your organization are accurate and precise. To achieve this goal, you should collaborate effectively with your teammates by writing down feedback when it’s requested from you via email by the company’s Data Protection Officer or DPO equivalent. This way, you can help that person ensure everyone is on the same page, and any potential issues in privacy can be identified and addressed promptly.

Rebranding Mine to MineOS

Mine has always been a trusted name in data privacy, providing effective solutions to both consumers and businesses alike. As our platform evolved, we want to reflect this multi-industry competency by expanding our brand to run parallel with its ability to cover data governance and security challenges, catering to the needs of larger enterprises. 

To reflect this shift, we rebranded to MineOS. The Mine App for consumers remains the same, while MineOS is tailored to the unique requirements of businesses. Our focus on privacy remains a crucial part of our platform, and we continue to prioritize data privacy and security no matter for whom.

Expanding the Base for Enterprises

As MineOS expands its focus to cater to larger businesses, we recognize the unique challenges that come with managing data privacy across international, multidisciplinary organizations with thousands of employees and active systems containing customer PII. To meet these challenges, we are expanding the scale of our platform where most necessary, specifically to handle more data sources and employees accessing those sources. 

Our aim is to ensure that our platform can efficiently represent large numbers of data assets while maintaining the highest levels of privacy, security and accessibility. We are also carefully considering the needs of our SMB partners and prioritizing their ongoing requirements alongside those of our enterprise clients. With MineOS, we want businesses of all sizes to benefit from our comprehensive data privacy and governance solutions.

Another important feature for enterprise users is to login via their workplace’s chosen Single Sign-On system. That means more security, and the ability to seamlessly login to MineOS via Google, Okta, AzureAD, and other identity providers.
